Before moving to Paris in 1902 and studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Marius Saïn attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Avignon and Marseille.
During his training he worked under the direction of the famous sculptors Gabriel Thomas, Antoine Injalbert and Henri Allouard and collaborated with Félix Charpentier in his studio.
The influence and fame as a painter in the capital of his older brother Paul Saïn allowed him to meet all the intelligentsia of the time and to receive numerous private and state commissions with many monuments.
